and David Brooks Connie’s Celebrations April 11, 2009 _____ We used Professional Sounds' DJ service for our wedding and they were FANTASTIC. Truly one of our saving graces considering three weeks before our wedding, The Oliver House (where our reception had been booked for MONTHS in advance) called us to tell us that they were remodeling the room we had booked, adding booths to it, and would no longer have room for our reception. When I called Doug Bermick (the owner/president and one of the DJ's) he came to our rescue, sending us a list of 150 different banquet halls in the area and their contact information. Then he went even further to actually recommend specific places that were within our budget and told us to make sure we used his name and got the best deal we could. We ended up booking at one of his recommended venues, the Crowne Plaza (Wyndham) and the woman he directed us to, Alice, was INCREDIBLE to work with. In one fell swoop Doug at Professional Sounds had saved my entire wedding. Two weeks or so before the wedding, Doug made a follow up call, paying extensive attention to every detail no matter how small it seemed to us. The day of the wedding, Rod (the DJ Doug had sent) was charming, helpful, and attentive. He made sure everything went as smoothly as possible and was extremely easy going with unplanned "events." The music he played was right on queue (even playing The Time Warp from Rocky Horror Picture Show as we had requested on a lark). If the success of our wedding had to be attributed to one vendor, Professional Sounds would be it. Alisa
